Deck questions we hear a lot

Composite or cedar, which should I pick?

Both are good choices in Colorado. Composite costs more up front but needs almost no upkeep and holds its color. Cedar gives you a warm, natural look for less but needs sealing over time. We will show you both in your 3D design and help you decide.

Can you build on a steep or sloped lot?

Yes. Elevated and multi-level decks are a great fit for foothills lots. We set the footings for the grade, engineer the frame to code, and design the levels so the deck works with the slope instead of fighting it.

How much does a deck cost?

It depends on the size, the height, the material, and the railings and stairs. Nobody can give you a real number from a web page. We design your deck, then put one honest written price in front of you.

Do you handle permits and HOA approvals?

Yes. Decks almost always need a permit, and we handle it. Permits, planning, and HOA submittals are part of the job so the deck is approved and built to code.
